We are currently undergoing a complex and challenging period of change within the organisation, which in turn, provides a number of interesting and challenging projects for the Communications team.
We have an opening for a Communications Advisor working initially with our IT Managers to provide sound advice on how to engage and lead our people.
As a key member of the Business Support Communications Team, you be involved a mix of one-off initiatives and providing ongoing support for internal communications. There’s lots of scope for influencing what & how we communicate and for implementing your good ideas. As part of our change process, Inland Revenue is transforming itself so the job will be varied and stimulating.
Some of the key ingredients you will bring to the role are:
- Excellent communications skills
- The ability to translate technical language to plain English
- Experience in successful change management
- Experience in internal communications, ideally within a large organisation
- The ability to listen, liaise, negotiate and think strategically
- Drive and resilience
- Proven experience managing a varied portfolio of work.
