The role of Asset Planning Manager is a newly created role that is accountable for the planning and long term development of the Council’s asset portfolio, alongside the management of the Asset Planning Team. Reporting to the Planning and Projects Manager the role is responsible for driving the day to day functionality of the district’s infrastructure planning and projects initiatives. Ultimately this role will be a key stakeholder in defining the Council’s capital works programme and works across stakeholder groups to deliver Strategic objectives alongside the council’s operational activities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Asset Management and be a strategic thinker. You will be able to deliver system design alongside delivery and be able to work across stakeholder groups as a ‘business partner’, to integrate the asset management plans alongside the greater council’s strategic and operational plans.
