New Zealand holds a wealth of natural resources and it’s energy sector is focussing a lot of its attention towards the development of renewable energy schemes. There are currently several multi-million dollar power station construction projects around the country and some of the our largest engineering contractors have won contracts to deliver these projects.We are currently looking for a talented Project Engineer to join the civil construction phase of a large power station project immediately.This role will be best suited to someone who:Holds prior experience working within a project engineering role on the construction of civil structures, earthworks and piling aspects of a multi-million dollar project.Strong technical knowledge of engineering processes as well as the procurement of construction materials and allocation of manpower.Preparing robust work schedules to ensure the smooth running operations on site.Leads by example in regards to on-site Health and Safety.Client, sub-contractor and internal communication abilities must be strong as you will often be called upon to consult on you technical expertise regarding various aspects of a job.This is an excellent project for an up and coming civil engineering professional to add further experience to their CV.The right candidate will receive an excellent remuneration package and use of a company car.For more information phone Nick Wallwork on 09 951 5010, apply online or email your CV to jobs@roblawmax.co.nz Ref: NW52321
