We are seeking a committed and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist Diabetes to join our small team. The primary focus of the role is to enhance health outcomes for clients with diabetes across the lifespan by providing clinical expertise and leadership to both clients and other health professionals.
The successful applicant will have:
- Current New Zealand registration as a Registered General & Obstetric or Registered Comprehensive Nurse
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications
- Extensive clinical expertise in diabetes and chronic disease management
- Current full driver’s licence
- Demonstrate proficient evidence based practice and in depth knowledge in their field
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Committed to client oriented care and continuous quality improvement
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
This is a permanent position working 64 hours a fortnight (0.8 FTE)
