We are looking for a talented Learning and Development Advisor (Maori and Pacific) to join our Learning and Development Team. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop, implement and evaluate learning and development initiatives that build staff capability and support the learning and development team to implement a range of learning and development priorities.
You will focus on providing a Maori and Pacific Island perspective to our programmes. You will ensure we remain inclusive and we are providing opportunities to develop our cultural capability. You will help to ensure the success of the Departments Mori and Pacific Strategies as we identify and leverage opportunities to educate, engage and empower our staff.
To be successful you will need to bring at least 2 years experience in a learning and Development role, preferably gained in a complex, service delivery environment.
You will be adept at designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development initiatives.
You will also have a high level of knowledge of mori and Pacific Island cultures and be capable of integrating cultural perspectives into organisational processes and structures. Particularly you will need advanced Te Reo Mori skills and knowledge of Tiriti and Maori stakeholders interests to inform the work of the Department.
