We are recruiting now for an Urban Grocer Store Manager, full time. Very fast paced, high volume, 24/7 retail operation in Wgtn CBD, 1 role.
With responsibility for managing all operational aspects of the retail store in alignment with our corporate strategic initiatives, your primary goal will be to drive sales and maximize market potential through merchandising, sales and proving great customer service. Youll have a proven track record of success in over achieving sales targets, a working knowledge of store P&L, able to effectively resolve issues and dissolve conflict with ease, together with an in- depth knowledge of retail management.
An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills; you like to motivate and inspire your team to achieve results. With responsibility for leading and coaching a team of dynamic sales assistants, your personal drive, enthusiasm, passion for customer service and commercial acumen will ensure your success.
With a minimum of 3yrs retail management experience involving people leadership, and at least 5yrs experience in retail sales and merchandising, youll have a natural ability to lead by example and relate to people at all levels, with proven communication and leadership skills.
Skills and qualifications required include:
Minimum of 3yrs retail management in a high volume business with proven leadership abilities
5-10yrs retail sales and merchandising experience
Design consciousness with merchandising and display
Effective conflict resolution skills
Extensiveback officeadministration skills vital with experience using “Infinity” preferred
Advanced and proven HR abilities
Business Degree or Retail Management certification high desirable
Knowledge and previous experience working within the Liquor and Grocery industry a must
Must hold an active liquor license and have a minimum of 2 years experience managing an off-license
Must be management qualified in Lotteries
This is a full-time permanent position based on a 50hr week with a rotational roster. Flexibility to work late nights, graveyards and weekends to provide effective leadership for the team, and be available on-call 24/7 is essential.
