We are seeking a passionate, highly motivated and robust Manager who is looking for that next challenge, to oversee our people and OH&S issues across our East Tamaki site on afternoon shift.
Key to this role is the ability to lead, coach & motivate the team towards departmental objectives & strategies, support & report on departmental safety and manage all required afternoon shift resources to meet daily plans & targets, including costs. With primary accountability for warehouse functions including controlling the management of stock inventory on afternoon shift, picking for production, replenishment etc, this role will also manage across the manufacturing and warehouse functions for the afternoon shift. Crucial to this role is promoting a continuous improvement culture through teamwork and communication.
We seek expressions of interest from experienced Managers that have at least 3 years people management experience in a warehouse environment, including exposure to OH&S. Experience in Navision, ERP or Warehouse Management System and any relevant Trade & Industry Course certificates will be highly regarded along with a relevant fork hoist licence. This role also requires excellent communication skills, an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and a successful track record in building strong relationships.
