Based in South Auckland our client offers the complete Italian Bathroom and Flooring solutions. With showrooms across New Zealand they offer an exclusive range of products at the high end of the market including Italian tiles, wooden flooring, bathroom plumbing, cabinetry baths and showers.
They are now seeking an experienced Tradesman who can combine Quality Assurance into the role and truly knows how to trouble shoot and problem solve with installation issues. This is a unique role requiring a proactive and knowledgeable team member with excellent communication skills and a natural Customer Service approach.
The role will encompass a wide range of tasks including but not limited to:
Off site visits to check tradesman work and assist with any installation issues
Source and locate parts and liaising with purchasing department to source additional spare parts as required
Manage the QA process of all inwards goods
Manage the QA of all returned product and appropriate storage of product
Manage spare parts
Provide a high level of Customer Service internally and externally
The successful applicant will:
Strong background in building or plumbing trade
Have excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills
Be proactive, professional and self managing
Reasonable computer skills with MS Office
An eye for detail and follow through on completion of jobs
Have your own work vehicle (mileage rate in addition to salary).
