We are currently experiencing strong demandwith projects in transport infrastructure and municipal water supply, wastewaterand stormwater infrastructure. We are also delivering major urban and regionalroad projects that require strong project management and delivery specialists.
Our Project Delivery Group has anopportunity for a Cost Engineer/Quantity Surveyor to join their Auckland basedteam. Reporting to the Team Leader Project Delivery you will have theopportunity to work on a variety of challenging and often strategic projects.
Reporting to the Team Leader ProjectDelivery Buildings and Infrastructure, you will co-ordinate and lead thepreparation of cost estimates and provide quantity surveying and costmanagement services to SKM projects across the NZ region to all operationcentres. You will work across infrastructure, heavy industrial and buildingprojects in road and utility infrastructure, power generation and transmission,and industrial markets in NZ, Pacific, Asia and South America.
As the ideal candidate, you will hold arelevant qualification; have at least 5 years relevant experience gained in aconsulting environment and a track record of successful delivery. Yourexpertise and working knowledge of construction methods, programming, riskassessment, cost planning and management, procurement processes and contractswill be critical for success in this role.
