Our client is a big player in the New Zealand payments market and has enjoyed continued success with the increase in technologies in tandem with their market share.
They are now looking for a Senior Certification Analyst in particular with banking⁄payments testing experience.
Key Accountabilities:
- Together with other senior analysts, oversee the day to day operations of Terminal Certification, coordinate tasks across the team and provide specialist technical support.
- Develop and manage effective relationships with EFTPOS Vendors and other parties as appropriate, to ensure delivery against customers expectations, and service delivery standards. Work proactively with the team to resolve issues that have the potential to impact customers.
- Review and analyze test results, maintain test scripts, terminal specification and other certification documents and systems.
- Identify and coordinate training needs for the team to foster a supportive work environment that provides challenges and recognizes commitment and strong performance
- Educate the business on new EFTPOS solutions by providing adequate training and documentation to ensure the required support is received.
- Perform certification testing as necessary to either meet excess customer demand or for high risk certifications.
- Support of certification testing environment including:
-Support the test network, tools, environment and approved solutions;
-Identifying and implementing QA process improvements;
-Internal and External support requests.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience:
- 3+ years QA⁄testing experience.
- A tertiary Computer Science or similar qualification preferable.
- In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and the software testing process.
- Competent understanding of business issues linked to the projects being certified.
- Excellent problem analysis skills.
- Excellent documentation⁄interpretation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A detailed knowledge of EFTPOS procedures and systems.
