Riccarton Clinic is a combined medical practice and Accident & Medical Centre located on the western approaches to Christchurch. We are seekingone or moreRegistered Nurses to assist in patient care and practice-related duties as a partof our team of doctors and nurses.
You will be a Registered Nurse andhave good computer skills (MS Office and MedTech preferred).Preference will be given tonurses from a Practice-based backgroundwith chronic disease management experience. We will consider nurses from an ED-type background as working here combines both so you should have a willingness to develop relevant and related skills. Current immscertificate would be advantageous. Youwill work collaboratively with the practice team to meet the needs of patients, following local and national policy and procedures, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Training is encouraged and there are two nurses‘ meetings per month.
Being available for patients twelve hours each day of the year we need our employees to be flexible, reliable and committed. Team working is a given. This role iscovered by the Primary Healthcare MECA but we offer additional benefits. Hours of work to be negotiated.
Riccarton Clinic is housed in a four-year old building constructed to very high standards. There has been minimal damage from the quakes and staff feel more safe here than in their own homes. Our facilities include a large staff room,showers, an outdoor terrace, and a well-equipped meeting room.
