An opportunity has arisen for two Registered Nurses to join the Older Persons Mental health community team. You will need to be passionate and motivated to work with the older adult. In return, we can offer you the chance to work within a dedicated, supportive team who believe in providing client centred care through a strong multidisciplinary approach.
In order to be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience in working with the older adult who has mental health and/or cognitive needs
- An ability to provide early intervention and case management for clients with complex needs
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships
- The ability to work in a variety of community settings
- Experience in being part of a multidisciplinary team
We have two positions available – 12 month, fixed term position to cover maternity leave and a permanent role. FTE flexible from 0.8 1.0.
