Land Information New Zealand (LINZ)’s purpose is to maintain and build confidence in property rights in land and geographic information as well as encourage land markets to develop and mature. The work supports activities as diverse as buying a house, navigating the seas and sending emergency services to the right place.
This is a great opportunity to influence senior management and become a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive. You will be responsible for ensuring LINZ has appropriate and fit for purpose internal and external communications strategies and an integrated and strategic approach to channel management. Your collaborative approach to working with stakeholders will be key to your success, as will your ability to identify significant risks and opportunities for the organisation.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and attributes;
- In-depth practical understanding of the Government communications environment
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Ability to develop and implement communications strategies in a complex government organisation
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
Critical to this role is the need for a strong, well networked expert in the field of strategic communications.
