Manco Engineering Group is a diversified group of small engineering companies. We seek a design engineer / project engineer to work on a range of mechanical equipment associated primarily in twofields.
- Refuse and Recycling Equipment
We have had a long association with the
manufacture of a diverse range of
mobile and stationary equipment for
handling domestic, commercial and
industrial waste and recyclables.
- Road Rail Equipment
This is a niche area, where we have
developed construction equipment to
operate on the rail network. This
equipment is used primarily for the
installation and ongoing maintenance of
the overhead electrification for the rail
system.
Job Role
- To undertake the CAD design and draughting of work associated with the above fields
- To project manage the manufacture of the equipment with our subcontractors.
- To supervise the installation and commissioning of the equipment.
- To ensure that our quality standards are met.
- To ensure that projects are completed on time, and within budget.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years work experience.
- Minimum qualification of NZCE Mechanical.
- Experienced CAD operator, preferably on Autocad and Solidworks.
- Preferably had “hands on” workshop experience.
