To take ownership of the 2nd and 3rd level support a star is needed for the support team. A mix of problem-solving on support side and forward thinking flexibility. These plans will include expediting the procedures and processes and managing the support process individually. Analyse, drive and execute.

The technical side of things will be a mix of large application integration experience and software issue diagnosis. A range of technologies including 3rd party integration, and a little database understanding (SQL). Ability to structure and support of large clients will hold you in good stead.
