We are seeking a trade qualified heavy diesel mechanic for our branch based at Macraes in North Otago.
Goughs supplies and maintains earthmoving equipment on this gold project and our Heavy Diesel Mechanics carry out mine based mechanical repairs and maintenance on a range of CAT and associated mining equipment. Front line experience with Caterpillar heavy earth moving equipment and knowledge of the mining industry would be a real plus.
This position is shift based and operates on a 12 hour rotating day/night shift pattern over a 7 day roster. Transport to the mine is provided from Dunedin, Waikouaiti and Palmerston.
