The role of Network Design Architect will work within a talented group of professionals to interface between the sales and operational delivery teams.Responsibilities will include: – Pre-sales consultancy, working with both resellers and directly with customers, who include NZ’s largest public and private sector entities – Architecture design across a full range of end to end network solutions – Coordination of network engineers and administrators once accountability has been handed over to the installation teamsAs this is very much a client facing role and will involve conducting solution design workshops, excellent communication skills are critical. To be successful in this capacity, you will be someone who is technically competent and enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering top quality customer service.Technically you will be a seasoned Senior Network Engineering professional with sound hands on commercial experience within large, complex environments. You will have demonstrable strengths across multiple platforms, and requisite skills in the design of practical, cost effective network solutions.Solid Cisco experience is essential, with CCNA/CCNP certification or similar ideal.Previous experience in a presales consultancy capacity would be highly advantageous.
