Otago Innovation Limited is the commercialisation arm of the University of Otago. It is responsible for commercialising groundbreaking research developed by the Universitys renowned academic community. Located on the Dunedin campus, we are a close-knit and growing team. Otago Innovation is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Commercialisation Analyst to join the team. This is a full-time permanent position. This role reports to the CEO, and has varied responsibilities that will involve applying your business and science knowledge to:-Investigate market opportunities associated with given projectsConduct financial analysis and modeling of market opportunitiesUndertake high level due diligence on potential licensees and/or partnersEnsure monthly project financial reports are completed and distributed Coordinate project budgeting across the commercialisation teamProduce ad hoc financial reports on projectsIdeally, the person being sought will:-Have a bachelors degree or higher qualification in science, and an understanding of, or experience in, business and/orHave a bachelors degree or higher qualification in business, and an affinity for science, andHave a sound and enquiring analytical mind, andHave a commitment to producing quality work that will enhance our commercialisation process, andEnjoy being part of a small and vibrant teamPlease send us your written application and accompanying CV by no later than Monday 8 August.
