This is a real opportunity to take this face to face customer service team to the next level! Do you want to carve the direction for this Auckland Council customer service team?

In this role you will manage customer service staff including coaching, mentoring, performance and training to ensure excellence in customer service. You will also participate in the operational management of the Service Area location and provide technical guidance as required. You will maintain relationships with stakeholders and manage complaints. You will also be responsible for supervising and auditing the cashiering.

We are looking for a candidate with 3-5 years experience in a team leader position in a customer service environment and sound customer service skills. Do you have demonstrated people management experience? Are you able to empathise and deal with difficult customers to achieve successful outcomes? Is listening one of your strengths and are you calm under pressure? We are looking for candidates with great interpersonal and negotiation skills and a real public service ethos. If you are organised and a great communicator then we want to see you!

A full clean New Zealand drivers licence is essential for this role.
