ADHB‘s Kaupapa Maori Mental Health Service for adults provides a range of services via two community based teams providing services totangata whai ite ora who are living in the community of Tamaki Makaurau. The teams comprise predominantly Maori staff who come from a variety of iwi and all have expert knowledge of tikanga Maori and share a passion for supporting Maori on their recovery pathway.
We are looking for experienced registered mental health nurses who would like to join our multidisciplinary team and who have the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to help develop our service.Your positive attitude, flexibility, strong clinical and administrative skills and proven ability to form good relationships with staff, tangata whai ite ora and their whanau will secure this interesting role.
Applicants should be able to provide comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment to tangata whaiora and nursing guidance to our multi-disciplinary team of health professionals. In turn, we will provide a stimulating and supportive working environment.
This is a Monday to Friday position based on the beautiful Whatua Kaimarie marae in Pt Chevalier with easy access to the North Western motorway and free on-street parking. We welcome applications for part time or full time roles.
