An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Electrician to join the Maintenance Team at our Reefton Operation. Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, this position is responsible for maintaining the electrical systems in the process plant and all related electrical equipment and machinery. Key tasks will include diagnosing and rectifying faults, calibrating and maintaining all instrumentation including the Process Control System and installing new equipment.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A formal trade qualification and current NZ practicing license
- Previous exposure to PLC‘s, control systems and instrumentation
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of quality
- Prior experience in a processing or heavy industry would be highly regarded.
Applicants must hold a full current drivers licence and be able to pass a pre employment medical including drug & alcohol testing.
