The emphasis of their organisation is major infrastructure construction project work, specialising in roads, civil structures, marine, bridges, pipelines, pre-cast concrete and other heavy civil work. You can have a couple of years under your belt or twenty, either way there is an opportunity for you to join this great company.
This company is now seeking a PM with 10 years experience to oversee the day to day running of their various Christchurch based projects.
You must have the following attributes and experience:
- NZCE (Civil), BE or similar related qualification
- Experience in pricing and managing road construction projects
- Ability to identify engineering issues and think on your feet to solve them
- Strong communication skills
- Strong reporting and management skills
As a critical part of the business you will be responsible for your team and their well being, not only at their work but that the company is allowing them to develop there careers as well. Other areas you re responsible for include,
- Managing construction and maintenance projects including pricing, programming, quality, planning, construction and claims
- Management of your own team as well as sub-contractors and plant
- Delivering superior customer service and skills
This is an urgent requirement and the need to fill this roe with the right calibre individual is vital. A good salary with extensive package will be offered to the right candidate.
