Due to growth within the company, our client, a well-known Australasian company in the banking sector are currently looking for a number of Customer Banking Consultants.
You will be working in a retail branch in Christchurch reporting to the Bank Manager, and be responsible for providing new and existing customers exceptional customer service. You will be focused on gaining an understanding of customer needs and provide solutions for them in regards to their personal loans, insurances, mortgages, bank accounts, and other lending products. Our client has a fantastic company culture and strongly supports on-going career development. Their progressive retail branches have up to date systems and on-going training and support are provided.
This full time permanent position requires a person who has either previous lending experience within the banking industry, or has been in a sales focused environment previously (for example in Commercial Sales and Marketing or in Retail Sales role) and is looking to make a move into retail banking.
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in Sales and can demonstrate you can provide excellent customer service and relationship management skills. You will thrive on working to targets and excel at being able to listen to customer to understand their needs. You will need to have strong administrative skills and have strong IT skills, as well as have the ability to learn any new systems quickly. You will also need to demonstrate you have the ability to learn and work within strict policy guidelines and be self-managing in your day to day work to achieve excellent results.
