For over 50 years, Verkerks has produced quality smallgoods and continental meat products for the local New Zealand market.We are currently seeking applications from candidates for a range of positions in our manufacturing facility located in Vagues Road, Papanui.We have several vacancies available across two shifts: Option 1: 5.00am 1.30pm, Monday to Friday Option 2: 1.30pm 10.00pm, Monday to Friday Experience in the food industry or operating manufacturing machinery would be an advantage. However we also welcome applications from people of any work background who can show they are: Keen to learn and take instruction well Mechanically minded Organised and reliable Prepared to put in the hard work required to develop their skillsFull training will be given, as it is our aim to develop a team of highly skilled staff, who are able to be deployed to any area and activity within our manufacturing operation.
