Due to parental leave a 12 monthopportunity opportunity has opened for a strong motivated individual to make their mark on the International Broker Branch. In this role you would be responsible for managing the relationship and providing expert insurance services to one of our international brokers.

Aon New Zealand Ltd is the largest insurance broker in New Zealand, with the Client Placement Facility (CPF) being a critical part of Aon’s and IAG’s business strategy.

You will be part of NZI International Broker Branch, based in the AON office in Wellington, where you will work closely with the Aon Brokers to profitably manage and grow the CPF portfolio. Working in a close knit team and alongside some of the best in the business, this role will provide a strong grounding and exposure to the broker market plus give you the stretch that your career needs to develop you into one of the finest Account Managers in the business.

Ideally the suitable incumbent will have had some Commercial underwriting experience in the Broker market and in addition possess the following qualities:

  • Business Product knowledge.
  • Excellent commitment to Broker services.
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Planning and Organisational skills.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Have achieved or is working towards attainment of ANZIIF.

This is a very challenging role and one that requires an individual to understand the sales culture associated with broker negotiations.
