Our client is looking for a skilled quantity surveyor or estimator to produce pricing strategies for fitout projects in the corporate retail sector. The role will involve working in unison with a range of stakeholders, from the Sales and Project Services teams through to suppliers and intermediaries. A strong emphasis will be placed on process improvement and increasing margin.The ideal candidate will come from a construction or engineering background, with experience in estimating and or quantity surveying. This role involves working with a number of different parties, so you must be flexible and open to ideas, but also decisive and able to exercise good judgement. The ability to plan for contingencies is a must, as there is often an element of ambiguity with projects. Keen commercial instincts are also crucial. A degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture or the like is preferred but not essential.Our client specialises in the corporate fitout sector and is renowned for its high quality, custom-made retail solutions.
