As the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director you will be required to enact your business acumen, high levels of organisational and administrative abilities to help the Managing Director and the corporation to achieve their goals. This is a newly created role that will provide you with the scope to define your duties and to take ownership of your responsibilities. In this role you will need to regularly demonstrate initiative and get the ball rolling within the organisation. You are driven by results and enjoy a varied workflow and challenges throughout the day. In this role you will have a focus on service and act as one of voices for the corporation. It is therefore essential that you are an effective and professional communicator.

Key Duties:

  • Coordination of meetings/appointments
  • Extensive travel and accommodation arrangement
  • Developing client presentations through PowerPoint
  • Managing board papers
  • Arrange video conferences, teleconferences, meetings, rooms, equipment & catering
  • Act as a critical contact point for the direct reports of the Managing Director
  • Minute taking
  • Project management

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting a senior executive from the Financial Services and/or Investment Banking Industry
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Strong business acumen
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities , maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Client service orientation
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment
