BDS Chartered Accountants Ltd is a reputable chartered accounting and business advisory firm based in a handy central Auckland location. It has a broad range of clients (local, national & international) engaging in all sectors of commerce.
Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years BAS experience in a NZ CA firm, NZ mid tier or Big 4 experience would certainly be advantageous. You must be CA qualified or due to become qualified this year. And have well developed client facing competencies.
Your responsibilities will include the preparation of financial statements and tax returns in compliance with NZ requirements for clients such as sole traders, companies and trusts. You will manage a team of junior staff, delegating tasks and reviewing their work as necessary..
The role works closely alongside the director and has a focus on managing a block of clients. We are searching for a confident technically sound accounting professional able to work independently and juggle conflicting priorities in an organised and methodical manner. Proven experience in supervising junior staff and direct liaison with clients would be beneficial. First class communication skills are a necessity as you will be in a highly client focused role. This role would suit someone who is professional, works hard, is ambitious and is genuinely interested in business.
Salary to commensurate with experience.
