Our Telecommunications division have an exciting opportunity for a Deployment Delivery Manager based in either Wellington or Palmerston North. Reporting to the National Deployment Manager, the Delivery Manager will be responsible for providing effective leadership, motivation, coaching and mentoring to a team of Field Technicians to ensure that we have a highly successful and productive workforce in addition to satisfied clients within the region.
This hands-on role involves being out in the field coaching, mentoring and supervising people whilst ensuring procedures and safety are being adhered to. It is crucial that you are focussed on building and maintaining client relationships. You will work closely with our service maintenance centre, the Quality Team, as well as the fellow Field Managers nationally, continuing a team ethos is being built throughout NZ. You will also be responsible for managing costs and delivering the service levels required by our clients within budget.
About you:
Telecommunications industry experience is advantageous for this role (ideally along with Level 4 NZQA qualification), but is not essential. In addition, you will have:
- Proven project management experience, preferably with related qualifications to support it.
- Strong practical experience and knowledge of applicable consenting requirements, RMA, and Council requirements
- High degree of integrity and business ethics
- Planning, leading, organising and controlling people and resources
- Clearly communicates both orally and in writing
- High personal standards, exemplar to the team
- Positive attitude, focused on performance and drive for results
