This fixed term maternity cover role would ideally suit a qualified Chartered Accountant and/or someone who has at least five years experience working as an Accountant in a small to medium sized business. Experience using MYOB software or a similar product is essential. You will be able to demonstrate your positive outlook, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. You will excel at working in a supportive and collaborative environment and have excellent people skills.
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation of accruals and monthly accounts
- Forecasting
- GST and PAYE Returns
- Payroll
- Invoicing and payments
The successful candidate will also be required to support the Sales Manager and CEO and take an active role in the day to day management of the office.
The role is fulltime but there could be some flexibility for the right candidate.
You need to be a legal New Zealand resident and have English as a first language.
