This role has you Reporting to the Electrical Manager and working within the Controls team, the work load is varied and you will be required to program and commission customised special purpose machinery on site for each client.
The role would suit a Diploma or a Degree qualified Electrical Engineer (Controls) who is experienced and well round in the world of controls.
This is a very specialised area of engineering and the role will be suited to only those candidates who have experience and the ability to travel for 3-4 weeks at a time
Attributes we seek:
Be able to Project Manager from start to finish
Program and commission
Have a solid background in Allen Bradley PLC
Have a solid understanding of Pneumatics
Be able to communicate well on all levels
Have technical knowledge of current standards
Be able to amend Electrical Drawings
Be available to travel to site (Asia and Australia) Current passport is a must
Be point of contact on Site until project has finished
Health and safety is a must
An eye for details
Proficiency in Auto Cad
Ideally you will have an Electrical Engineering Degree (Automation) or diploma with hands on Electrical Experience in controls with a high level ability to adapt
Superb written and verbal communication skills are required
Ideally you will have a Packaging background or Plant Automation with experience in Installation, commissioning and programming ..
Must be NZ Resident with a minimum of4-5 years’ Controls experience
