Mental Health Services for Older PeopleTauranga Hospital2 x positions available 0.8 1.0FTE (64- 80 hours per fortnight)Two vacancies have become available for Registered Comprehensive/Psychiatric Nurses at the Specialist Mental Health Service for Older People In-Patient Unit at Tauranga Hospital. This is an acute admission ward providing care and treatment for younger and older adults (65+) with medical and mental health needs and/or those people experiencing behavioural and psychological symptoms associated with dementia. The unit also provides palliative care for clients with end stage dementia. This provides an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to further develop or broaden a wide range of skills. We are a friendly, multidisciplinary team composed of nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, psychiatrists and a psychologist.
