Iris Limited is a large and highly respected organisation providing a range of services and support to people with a diverse range of disabilities, injuries and health related needsfrompre school age through to the elderly.
We are seeking people with drive and determination to work as a support worker in the West Auckland area, covering New Lynn to Hobsonville. The ideal person will be very flexible as you will be working weekends as well as weekdays, and couldbe supporting several clients at different locations on any given day.
The shifts we envisage will cover Saturday to Tuesday and Thursday to Sunday, with high demand for our clients from 7am to 1pm and 3pm to 6pm.
Experience in this type of role will be beneficial as some of our clients have high and complex needs which can be demandingfor our support workers. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with our clients and their families is key in this position. A full or restricted drivers licence is essential as is a professional and caring manner.
