It’s an exciting time to join Statistics New Zealand as its change programme accelerates to make sure New Zealand gets the information it needs.
This is a generalist communications role, but the current team set-up means the successful candidate leads the organisation‘s internal communications. The role reports to the Manager, Strategic Communications, and for the next twelve months the person will work mostly with the organisation‘s change team.
We’re looking for an experienced communications person, with great people skills and a track record of performance. Experience in internal communications and change would be an advantage. Although it’s a permanent role, given the organisation‘s current needs, we’d consider a 12-month contract for someone with specialist change communications skills.
