Commerical Claims Specialists Job at Hays Insurance, Auckland, Auckland Central
Our client is a leading international insurer with a reputation for providing an exceptional and detailed service to their clients. Due to current claims requirements, they are seeking an experienced commercial claims professional to join their experienced team of claims technicians.
Reporting to the Claims Manager, you will be working within the commercial EQC Claims Team. Youll be responsible for managing the commercial claims (including material damage, business interruption, liability) and will be liaising with brokers and clients alike, managing claims assessment and settlements, appointing assessors and setting appropriate reserves, negotiating settlements, settling claims / declinatures, liaising with legal and maintaining close relationships with underwriters.
Ideally you will have approximately 5 years commercial claims experience, possess strong interpersonal skills, have a high attention to detail and high productivity. You will be dealing with a range of SME claims and the ability to manage claims and keep these moving is essential. Good time management, the ability to make things happen and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance is essential. Your customer service skills and ability to keep clients up to date with the current status is vital. The ability to be self managing is essential and they are seeking candidates who can take ownership and responsibility.
