The New Zealand wine industry is growing rapidly with exports at $1.1 billion. Two of our key export markets are USA and Australia. We are seeking an experienced marketing graduate, based in Auckland, to help support our offices in Australia and USA to help drive our NZ wine marketing programme. New Zealand Winegrowers is a small, dynamic organisation within one of New Zealands most acclaimed export-oriented industries.
The candidate should have at least two to three years marketing experience, including running events, developing marketing materials and PR, ideally within the wine industry. Exposure and affinity to the USA and Australian markets gained through work, travel or family experience would be a distinct advantage.
The candidate should be organised and have strong communication skills and be willing to play a committed role in a busy and supportive team. The role is a 13 month contract to cover maternity leave.
