We’ve got multiple opportunities available to work with one of the largest and most experienced SharePoint development teams in New Zealand.
You’ll need to have at least 2 years’ experience in commercial .NET development and around 1 year of working on the SharePoint platform developing in SharePoint (2007/2010). Experience with web applications, site collections, web parts and event handlers is especially useful.
You should be proactive and be able to work in a diverse team and project and support based environment. Client-side work is always a possibility so good presentation and communication skills are essential.
The role is in the Application Support Team of the Microsoft Division where 24×7 support is provided to a host of customers. This is a dynamic, fast moving, client facing area with a lot of variety.
You’ll be working with a lot of smart people so qualifications to match are expected and being able to actively contribute to technical and functional documentation is a real advantage. Sound knowledge of the SharePoint Object Model is required as is a solid understanding and working knowledge of SQL Server. Desirable to have Content Management System experience (Kentoci/Sitecore & Clone) but not essential.
Although not essential, we’re especially interested in talking to people who have experience in deploying or managing a SharePoint solution, or those that have delivered work in SQL Server Reporting Services. We’re keen to help so we’d be really interested to hear about your current Microsoft certification’s and ways you want to build on them in the future.
