WHAT’S ON OFFER?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in IT services, focusing on the design and implementation of technology solutions in some or all of the following technologies or fields:
- Storage SAN or NAS technology, ideally NetAPP
- Virtualisation, ideally VMware
- Backup and recovery, Archiving and Replication (ideally CommVault)
You will be implementing these systems in some of the leading businesses in New Zealand, so you will need to be highly professional and technically astute in the areas of your specialisation. By identifying customer requirements, you will be able to recommend appropriate hardware and software solutions, designing and implementing an integrated solution that will solve specific business problems.
You will provide technical leadership to clients and other less experienced Fujitsu staff, and fulfil a project management function on smaller pieces of work.
And while doing this, you will be alert for technical consulting or product sales opportunities with your clients, both in the IT infrastructure arena, and across other service and product areas that Fujitsu offers.
WHAT DO WE WANT FROM YOU?
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- A strong background in Storage technologies and solutions, Virtualisation and/or Backup and Recovery Solutions
- Pre-sales, design, implementation and support experience in these areas
- A professional approach and client-facing capability
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Outstanding people, leadership, project management and consulting skills
- A strong work ethic and an eagerness and ability to further develop your technology and other skills
- A team-focussed approach
- A sense of humour
