My shipping company client is looking for a person already working for a shipping company in operations or container control.
The purpose of the role is to assist the Equipment manager in maintaining an efficient container tracking system and minimising container fleet costs.
Duties will include data entry into their system
Processing invoices
Checking container stocks with container depots
Following up with overseas agents gaining load lists to allow discharge of containers at discharge ports
Follow up with agents and shippers inrelation to overdue containers
Preparing monthly reports
Arranging the clearing of MT off the wharf
Other duties as required
The role requires accurate and efficient skills in relation to Data entry. The role could suit a person returning to the work force, an entry level person or indeed an older person just looking for employment!!!
