Our client is a major civil contractor with a reputation for work of the highest standard. Looking to expand their operations in WA, this company has numerous large scale projects on the slate and need the highest caliber people to help them take their business to the next level.
Currently they are looking for an experienced Chief Estimator to work in their Perth based office, reporting directly to the General Manager. This person will have major involvement in both the pricing and preparation of the written submissions for tender and will ultimately be responsible for the acquisition of new contracts. A background in Earthworks, Concrete and major Infrastructure Projects will be highly regarded, along with a sound understanding of the commercial aspects of Civil Construction Projects.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
- Extensive experience working on construction projects worth $20m – $250m
- 10 years experience Estimating for major Civil and Infrastructure projects in WA.
- A good understanding of commercial issues and familiarity with the local construction industry.
- Excellent communication, numeracy, literacy and business development skills
