SAFE Network Inc isNew Zealand’s largest community based specialist treatment service for adults and youth with sexually problematic behaviours. We are seeking a Professional experienced in working with tane/rangatahi and their whanau to join our Service provision for Maori in Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland
The following skills and competencies are considered essential:
- Experience in working with individuals and whanau.
- A commitment to providing effective service to Maori clients and their whanau, hapu and iwi.
- A good understanding of Tikanga Maori and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
- An ability to be a positive contributor to a small and committed team of clinicians
- Commitment to increasing one’s knowledge of Te Reo me nga tikanga Maori
A specialised qualification or experience in a related field, a mature disposition, ability to self manage and whanau supportare considered desirable.
