Vero’s Earthquake Claims team is currently seeking a talented individual to join the team as the Earthquake Knowledge Management Co-ordinator on a 12 months fixed term basis.

You will be reporting to the Claims Business Improvement Manager, but will have dual responsibility for Claims and Claims Supply Services Knowledge Management. You will be enhancing the delivery of service to customers and support staff involved in the earthquake claims process. You will play a key role in the Earthquake Knowledge Management Project and some of the tasks you will be involved in will be :

  • Gathering earthquake related information as advised
  • Liaising with SME’s to formalise procedural documentation
  • Participating in earthquake topical groups as required by the Earthquake Claims Management Team
  • Developing/facilitating change to systems and tools to support processes and overall effective functionality of claims service delivery
  • Documenting & mapping of processes/procedures to meet best practice requirements
  • Developing and facilitating the deployment of weekly communications relating to Earthquake news.

The ideal applicant will have extensive experience within the insurance industry with project management experience.The ability to develop strong relationships and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is flexible in their approach and someone who brings excellent planning and organisational skills.

The role is largely self driven however you will need to work well within the wider Claims team. Computer literacy is essential – Lotus Notes Guidebook Administration Knowledge will definitely be an advantage! You will have a strong customer service ethic and will bring your sense of humour with you!
