The recent and successful launch of a new interface system using Apple i-devices is a significant advancement within this sector.The main responsibilities of this role:

  • PCB design for Dynamic Controls products and contract-manufacturing customers products, resulting in high quality products.
  • Ensuring that PCBs are designed consistent with internal or the customers DFM guidelines, SMT machine requirements and Supplier manufacturing processes.
  • Consistent configuration control of all PCB designs, SMT placement files and related library files that control production and production quality
  • Involvement from initial design concept to obsolescence, including quotation, design support for initial production, on-going production support and resolution of concerns and complaints.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to internal and external customers as required by the business.

To be successful in this role you will have technical knowledge:

  • Experience and knowledge of PCB design
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Knowledge of IPC standards and applications to PCB design
  • Understanding of electrical schematics and circuit diagrams, design for EMC and design for high-power requirements
  • Knowledge and skill in using key software packages: Altium, Line Control, CAMTastic, AutoCAD and Microsoft Word/Excel
