We have excellent opportunities for J2EE/Java Developers with strong OO / Java experience to work on some project and support streams working on leading edge systems and online development
The role provides a hands-on opportunity for intermediate & senior developers to make a positive impression within the development team.
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Design and implementation of key high performance components
- Development of application software in Java / J2EE
- Design and development of application framework and customisation components
- Acting as mentor to other members in the team
- Prototyping and research projects with new technologies
Technical Skills:
Does your development experience include cover some of the following?
- Java, J2EE, Struts, Hibernate, FDD
- Oracle, especially RDBMS skills (or MS SQL Server)
- Tomcat
- Web application development
- Experience with system architecture or framework design preferred
Role Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Java Developer in commercial software environment, ideally with experience designing systems and applications for the finance industry
- Hands on knowledge of designing and implementing high-throughput transactional systems (advantageous)
- Great communication skills and problem solving ability
