We have continued to build our presence in the market and now seek a strong HR generalist to continue to support our existing client base and new client requirements on a contract basis.The RoleEach week will be different for you in this role, so you will enjoy challenge, variety and change. You will thrive on engaging with businesses to help companies achieve their short-term and long-term goals, providing advice, guidance and support to business managers, employees, on-site recruitment providers, and remuneration specialists. You will also assist in providing employee relations and human resource advice to effectively manage employment relationship problems, as well as contributing to HR policy development and leading, managing or participating in projects from time to time.This role may include weekly regular HR support to our ongoing clients as well as one-off project support. The RequirementsTo be successful in this contracted role, you will have:At least 3 years HR advisory experience across a range of areas including recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management, remuneration and reward, and employment relations Knowledge of contemporary New Zealand employment related legislation, HR theory and practice, and experience in applying both Sound analytical and project management skills The ability to establish credibility with ease A high level of professionalism, attention to detail and a down-to-earth approach A pro-active and independent attitude that will allow you to take the lead on projectsA strong desire to deliver best practice to a diverse client baseWhilst this role is initially offered on a contract basis, there may be an opportunity for it to become permanent in the near future.To register your interest please email Sandra Diekerhof, HR Consultant at sandra@hrconnect.co.nz or call 027 52 666 99
