At AUT we are committed to providing our students with the necessary tools to cope with these challenges and are therefore seeking an experienced Mental Health Advisor within our Student Services team.
The position will suit a qualified and experienced mental health professional with recent and strong clinical experience in mental health practice and case management.
With your knowledge and competence in mental health care and recovery, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in risk assessment, crisis management, and mental health care promotion, you will be equipped to effectively guide students through the complexities of mental health concerns in order to maximise their academic and personal achievements.
This role reports to the Director Student Success and you will be required to demonstrate professionalism, leadership, cultural sensitivity, and an understanding of youth and contemporary education.
