Senior Analyst- ASB Institutional (Client Relationship Management)

ASB Institutional is currently seeking a Senior Analyst to work with the relationship teams, product groups and risk to undertake required research, analysis and provide input on client solutions/ ideas and client pitches.
In this role you will contribute to the Profit/ Business by assisting in client pitches and presentations and credit risk papers, including research and analysis of industry sectors. You will provide Research Analysis and Financial Modeling for target and existing clients focusing on Total Capital Solutions; Capital management; Credit Advisory; Acquisition Financing.
As Senior Analyst you will apply team membership behaviour consistent with ASB’s values of Caring, Integrity, Ambition and Passion. You will also use the management systems and processes of the organisation to effectively carry out accountabilities. A key responsibility of this role is to plan and execute risk mitigating procedures and report results to management. You will of course provide excellent services to Clients/ Internal Clients/ Business Partners in line with business objectives.
The successful applicant will have at least 10 years banking/corporate finance/M&A experience ideally within client facing roles along with experience in understanding the operational drivers of a business and how they relate to the financial drivers of that business. A tertiary qualification in Business/ Commerce or related discipline is preferred. You should have highly developed research and analysis skills incorporating financial modeling skills coupled with a strong understanding of corporate finance and valuation principles. A sound understanding of current tax and accounting standards and credit risk is desirable.
