A unique opportunity is now availably for an experienced Civil technician / Engineer to join a leading supplier of Civil Engineering materials. This organization for over 17 years has supplied geosynthetics products to Civil Contractors on some of the countries leading infrastructure projects.
This position is a Tauranga office based role that holds several areas of responsibility, dealing first hand with contractors and engineers offering them first class solutions and technical knowledge, quoting varied product line and managing a challenging work load whilst maintaining and developing contacts with local and overseas suppliers.
To be able to succeed in this role you will need:
- A Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar discipline
- A proven background in Civil Infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Manage several projects / tasks at the same time
- Keep up to date with latest technology in the Civil Construction sector
Working in a small team environment no two days will be the same, the role will suit someone who has worked with a Civil Contracting organisation, someone who enjoys the technical side to the business but may be fed up with the day to day challenges of roading construction or maintenance and who would enjoy a dynamic sales type position.
There is also the opportunity for further career growth as the right person will be groomed for a more managerial role within the business.
