FIXED-TERM PART-TIMEEIT Tairawhiti is seeking to appoint two Learning Facilitators in the School of Business and Humanities. Both roles are for a fixed-term and are based in Gisborne.Each role will provide technical support to teaching staff and students, and enhance learning resources within the specified discipline. Learning Facilitator Bachelor of NursingThis role will provide Learning Facilitation for the Bachelor of Nursing programme. This is a 0.5 role (18.75 hours per week) to the end of the year. The key achievement areas for this role are:
- Purchase, maintain and care for the equipment in the simulation labs for the Bachelor of Nursing
- Assist in the coordinating of any teaching labs in conjunction with the teaching staff
- Provide learning assistance to students
- A relevant qualification in Health or Science is essential
Learning Facilitator National Certificate in Computing This role will provide Learning Facilitation for the National Certificate in Computing programme. This is a 0.7 role (26.25 hours per week) for one year. Key achievement areas for this role are:
- Demonstrate how to use equipment, software, materials and the like
- Operate administration systems and procedures maintaining documentation for the programme
- Assist with promoting the programme by attending open day expos and other marketing activities as appropriate
- Provide learning assistance to students
- A relevant qualification in IT is essential
