This is a chance to think about interesting and topical areas including:
- Natural resources policy and regulation
- Improving water quality in Rotorua Lakes
- Social marketing to improve environmental conditions
- Local Government policy
- Development of corporate planning documents like annual plans and ten year plans
- Energy and Climate Change issues
- Infrastructure development
In these roles you will be reporting to managers who are fair and supportive. We will teach you and allow you to lead. Were looking for policy professionals who understand the thinking behind policy development and analysis. You will of course have excellent critical thinking and writing skills. You will enjoy working across regulatory and non-regulatory issues. You will know how to front communications with a wide range of passionate stakeholders. You will need to have excellent relationship skills, a relevant tertiary qualification, a willingness to learn and a drive for success.
